Carl Adolph Ritter

Carl Adolph Ritter (born March 5, 1794 in Frankenstein , † August 13, 1863 in Kaiserslautern ) was a German squire and liberal politician . In 1849 he was a brief member of the Frankfurt National Assembly .

Life

Carl Adolph Ritter was a landowner and postmaster in Frankenstein. From 1830 he was also mayor of Frankenstein. From 1831 he was a member of the Palatinate district administrator and took part in the Hambach Festival in 1832 . He was a sponsor of the press association and signed the Knöbel Protestation in 1832 and had to leave his home for some time because he was threatened with arrest.

After his return he participated in the construction of the Ludwig Railway from Nuremberg to Fürth and later in the building of the Palatinate Ludwig Railway .

From June 13th to 18th, 1849 he was a member of the Kaiserslautern constituency of the Frankfurt National Assembly.
