Carl Andrießen
Carl Andrießen (born December 6, 1925 in Bergisch Gladbach ; † November 11, 1993 ) was a German screenwriter , satirist and critic .
Life
Andrießen grew up in Mittweida . He studied history and philosophy with Ernst Bloch and Hans Mayer, among others . At first he worked - at the same time as Bruno Apitz - as an editor and theater critic for the Leipziger Volkszeitung , later for the Fresh Wind and as a writer of reviews, glosses and polemics for the Weltbühne . Together with Lothar Creutz , he wrote several scripts for DEFA and DFF. The documentary Mein Freund Teddy deals with the school Andrießen attended in Mittweida. In 1968 he became Eulenspiegel editor. Andrießen died unmarried after a long illness. The author Günter Kotte honored Andrießen posthumously with a radio feature (DS-Kultur 1992) and a documentary film (1995).
