August Berthelt

Friedrich August Berthelt (born December 5, 1813 in Großröhrsdorf , † April 26, 1896 in Dresden ) was a German teacher , educator and educational writer .

Berthelt was a co-founder of the German Teachers' Association in Dresden. He worked as a high school supervisor and district school inspector. Streets in Radebeul-Naundorf (at the Naundorf elementary school ) and Dresden were named after him.

Berthelt died in Dresden in 1896 and was buried in the Trinitatisfriedhof .
