Carl Christoph Eckner
Carl Christoph Eckner (also Karl Christoph Eckner , born September 2, 1743 in Saalburg , † May 13, 1807 in Rudolstadt ) was a German medic and doctor in Rudolstadt.
Life
Carl Christoph Eckner attended schools in Saalburg and Gera , then studied medicine at the University of Leipzig and became a physicist in Königsee in 1764 .
In September 1773 Eckner at was Henry Frederick Delius at the medical faculty of the University of Erlangen with his dissertation De paralysi utriusque brachii post febrem scarlatinam Orta doctorate and then worked until his death as a doctor in Rudolstadt. He carried the title of court counselor and was best known for his writings on "gall fever" and the history of the Ruhr in 1800.
On September 19, 1789 he was given the academic surname Euphorbus III. under the matriculation no. 893 admitted to the Leopoldina as a member .
