Carl Forberg (born March 4, 1911 in Omaha , Nebraska , † January 17, 2000 in Brownsburg , Indiana ) was an American racing car driver .

Career

Forberg competed in different classes of American motorsport. He was most successful as a midget car pilot, but he was also at the start in motorcycle and hill climb.

The start at the Indianapolis 500 in 1951 was his only start in a race for the AAA National Series. He finished seventh, seven laps behind the winner Lee Wallard . Since the race was part of the Formula 1 World Championship at the time, he is also going to start at a Grand Prix.

His daughter later married the racing driver Pancho Carter .
