Carl Heinrich Krauss

Heinrich Krauss (born September 1, 1812 in Insterburg , † January 19, 1849 in Tilsit ) was a German high school teacher for mathematics .

Life

Krauss visited Gumbinnen the public school and the Frederick School , from which he Michaeli went off in 1831 with the Abitur. Like many high school graduates from his high school , he graduated from the Littuania Corpsland team in the winter semester of 1831/32 . Since Easter 1832 as a stud. phil. Enrolled at the Albertus University in Königsberg , he studied mathematics. He finished his studies Michaelmas in 1836. A student portrait watercolor by “Doller” (as his pub name is ) has been preserved in the Blätter der memorial (Schmiedeberg) ; it is dated August 10, 1837.

At Easter 1837 he passed the exam pro facultate docendi . He completed his probationary year in 1837/38 at the Kgl. Tilsit High School . After another voluntary year he was appointed Michaelmas 1839 to the new high school in Tilsit. He died as a second senior teacher at the age of 36.
