Carl Jonsson
Carl Christian Jönsson (born October 3, 1870 in Hamburg , † May 5, 1949 in Wembley , England ) was a German actor .
Life
Carl Jönsson was a member of the ensemble at the Bremen Schauspielhaus in the 1911/1912 season . There were also appearances in the 1930/1931 season at the Berlin Lessing Theater in Werner Ackermann's Flucht nach Shanghai in a production by Max Ophüls and in December 1945 in William Shakespeare's Hamlet at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin.
From 1923 Carl Jönsson worked in various film productions . Among other things, he played in the silent film Friedrich Schiller in 1923 under the direction of the young Kurt Götz (Curt Goetz) with Theodor Loos , Ilka Grüning and Paul Bildt , and in 1939 in the sensational trial Casilla von Eduard von Borsody with Heinrich George , Jutta Freybe and Albert Hehn and also in 1939 in Robert Koch, who fought against the death of Hans Steinhoff with Emil Jannings , Werner Krauss and Hilde Körber .
Carl Jönsson died on May 5, 1949 while traveling in Wembley, London Borough of Brent .
