Carl von Schott

Carl von Schott (born April 9, 1845 in Esslingen am Neckar , † November 4, 1913 in Bad Wildbad ) was a German officer in the Württemberg Army.

Life

Carl von Schott enrolled at the Eberhard Karls University . Like the later Count Max Freiherr von Soden-Fraunhofen , he was reciprocated in the Corps Suevia Tübingen in 1864 . In three semesters he distinguished himself as a senior . He moved to the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin and was also active in the Corps Neoborussia Berlin in 1865 . In Berlin, Carl Loewe and Viktor von Tepper-Laski were among his contacts. In the Württemberg army he was appointed wing adjutant and in 1895 was appointed major general and à la suite by King Karl (Württemberg) . In 1899 he was appointed lieutenant general with the title of excellence . At his farewell in 1912 he received the character as General of Infantry .
