Carl von Wrede

Carl von Wrede (born May 22, 1830 in Melschede Castle , Sundern (Sauerland) ; † June 25, 1901 in Münster ) was an administrative lawyer and district administrator for the Warendorf district .

Life

Carl von Wrede came from the Westphalian nobility of Wrede as the son of Friedrich von Wrede and Philippine von Fürstenberg . After graduating from high school in Paderborn on August 16, 1850, he studied law and cameralia at the universities of Bonn and Berlin . On June 12, 1854, he passed the auscultator test at the Münster Court of Appeal “according to the regulations”. He passed the examination to become a government trainee lawyer with the Münster government on October 13, 1857 and did his military service as a one-year volunteer with the Hussar Regiment "King Wilhelm I." (1st Rheinisches) No. 7 . He was an officer and regimental adjutant in the 11th Landwehr Hussar Regiment. On June 19, 1854, he received his appointment as auscultator at the Appellate Court in Münster. After his appointment as government trainee lawyer with the Münster government in October 1857, he was entrusted with the municipal administration of the Nottuln office on August 29, 1865 . The district council of the Warendorf district elected him unanimously on September 27, 1866 as the first candidate for the office of district administrator of the Warendorf district; He received his definitive appointment as district administrator on November 26, 1866. In 1899 he retired from civil service for reasons of age.
