Carlos Enrique Herrera Gutiérrez OFM (born December 21, 1948 in Managua , Nicaragua ) is Bishop of Jinotega .
Life
Carlos Enrique Herrera Gutierrez entered the religious order of the Franciscans and received on 10 January 1982, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On May 10, 2005, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the bishop of Jinotega . The Archbishop of Managua , Leopoldo José Brenes Solórzano , donated him episcopal ordination on June 24 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Apostolic Nuncio in Nicaragua, Archbishop Jean-Paul Aimé Gobel , and the Bishop Emeritus of Jinotega, Pedro Lisímaco Vílchez .
