Life
Juan María Huerta Muro entered the religious order of the Franciscans and received on July 1, 1989, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On February 2, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the prelate of El Salto . The Archbishop of Tijuana , Rafael Romo Muñoz , donated him episcopal ordination on May 2nd of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Apostolic Nuncio in Mexico, Archbishop Christophe Pierre , and the Bishop of San Juan de los Lagos , Felipe Salazar Villagrana .
