Carlos Jesús Patricio Baladrón Valdés (born March 17, 1945 in Campechuela ) is the former bishop of Guantánamo-Baracoa .

Life

Carlos Jesús Patricio Baladrón Valdés was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Santiago de Cuba on April 2, 1977 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in San Cristóbal de la Habana and titular bishop of Cibaliana on January 30, 1975 . The Archbishop of San Cristóbal de la Habana, Cardinal Jaime Lucas Ortega y Alamino , ordained him episcopal on January 5th of the following year ; Co- consecrators were Pedro Claro Meurice Estiu , Archbishop of Santiago de Cuba , and Faustino Sainz Muñoz , Apostolic Pro-Nuncio in Cuba .

On January 24, 1998, he was appointed bishop of Guantánamo-Baracoa . He resigned from his office on December 13, 2006.
