Carlos Rômulo Gonçalves e Silva (born January 24, 1969 in Piratini , Rio Grande do Sul , Brazil ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Montenegro .

Life

Carlos Rômulo Gonçalves e Silva received on 8 December 1994, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On 22 March 2017 Pope appointed him Francis the Coadjutor Bishop of Montenegro. The Archbishop of Pelotas , Jacinto Bergmann , donated him episcopal ordination on June 4th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Montenegro, Paulo Antônio de Conto , and the Bishop Emeritus of Pelotas, Jayme Henrique Chemello . The inauguration took place on June 9, 2017.

On October 18, 2017, Carlos Rômulo Gonçalves e Silva became Bishop of Montenegro, succeeding the resigned Paulo Antônio de Conto.
