Carly Schroeder
Carly Schroeder (born October 18, 1990 in Valparaiso , Indiana ) is an American actress .
Career
In 1997 Carly Schroeder was discovered for the US soap opera Port Charles . In it she took on the role of Serena Baldwin until 2001 . From 2001 to 2003 she starred in the television series Lizzie McGuire with Hilary Duff .
Schroeder made her film debut in 2003 with Popstar in Detours , the movie sequel by Lizzie McGuire . In 2004 she took on a leading role in the independent film Mean Creek . For this she was awarded an Independent Spirit Award . She also received a nomination for the Young Artist Awards . In 2006 she played the daughter of Harrison Ford in the thriller Firewall . In the same year she received the International Family Film Festival Award in the category “Best Child Actor” for her role in The Dolphin Whisperer . In 2007 she starred alongside Bridget Moynahan and Peter Weller in the horror film Prey .
