Carolin Conrad (* 1976 in Ulm ) is a German theater actress .

education

She spent her high school in Göttingen and Munich . Her passion for theater was probably stimulated most strongly by her grandfather Eberhard Müller-Elmau during her time in Göttingen. After graduating from high school (Munich 1996), she completed a four-year course at the Folkwang University of Applied Sciences in Essen . After completing her acting training, she began an engagement at the Stadttheater Heidelberg, paired with guest roles at the National Theater Weimar . In the 2003/04 season she began a multi-year engagement at the Schauspielhaus Leipzig . She has been employed at the Schauspielhaus Zurich since the 2008/09 season . She is married to the actor Aurel Manthei . The marriage had three children.

So far she has embodied roles as part of her ensemble activities at the Stadttheater Heidelberg, the Schauspiel Leipzig, the Schauspielhaus Zürich and the Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel / Residenztheater. She also played as a guest at the Ruhr Festival , the Cologne Theater , the National Theater Weimar and the Maxim-Gorki-Theater in Berlin.
