Caroline De Bruijn (born July 31, 1962 in Dordrecht ) is a Dutch actress .

Life

De Bruijn grew up in Valkenswaard and Eindhoven and received ballet and piano lessons as a child. At the age of 17 she graduated from high school in Amsterdam , where she attended the National Ballet Academy and studied law at the Universiteit van Amsterdam . In addition, she received singing and acting lessons at the Academy for Theater and Dance and played in various stage works and musicals (including at MUZtheater, Het Zuidelijk Toneel and Noord Nederlands Toneel). In 1995 and 1996 she hosted her own show Tijd voor vrije Tijd on Euro7 and at that time met the actor Erik de Vogel , with whom she is married to this day. In 2000, she presented the travel magazine Van here tot Tokyo on RTL4 .

social commitment

On behalf of Memisa , De Bruijn and De Vogel traveled to South Africa and Cameroon to raise awareness of AIDS there. They published their reports in Margriet magazine . She is also a member of the board of the NORMA Foundation .

Private

De Bruijn lives in Amsterdam and has a daughter (* 2000).
