Caroline Stanley (born March 16, 1993 ) is a former American soccer goalkeeper .
Career
During her studies at the University of Missouri and the University of Southern California , Stanley played for the university teams of the Missouri Tigers and USC Trojans from 2011 to 2014 . In 2012, she ran parallel to the W-League participant Los Angeles Strikers , with whom she clearly missed the play-offs as penultimate.
Over the 2015 season of the National Women's Soccer League Stanley joined the squad of Seattle Reign FC where he took the place of the third goalkeeper behind Hope Solo and Haley Kopmeyer one. Her only appearance for Seattle in the NWSL was on August 1, 2015 in a 2-1 away win against the Boston Breakers , after the season she was released from her franchise. Before the 2016 season , Stanley joined Sky Blue FC and replaced the previous goalkeeper Brittany Cameron, who had moved to Japan, together with draft pick Caroline Casey . Shortly before the start of the 2017 season, Stanley was released from Sky Blue FC and subsequently played a league game for Orlando Pride as a substitute for injured goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris . After Harris returned to the squad, Stanley's contract was also terminated in Orlando and she moved to the North Carolina Courage after a few weeks . After the 2017 season, she ended her career.
