The Carron River is a river in the north of the Australian state of Queensland .
geography
River course
The river rises at the northwest end of the Gregory Range , about 110 kilometers west of Georgetown and about 150 kilometers east of Normanton. From there it flows to the west-northwest and flows into the Norman River in Normanton .
