Caspar Feichtmayr (* 1637 or 1639 in Forst ; † probably 1704 in Weilheim in Upper Bavaria ) was a bricklayer and foreman, according to today's understanding, a builder , and the first of the acquaintances from the artist family Feuchtmayer .

Feichtmayr, along with his colleague Johann Schmuzer, is one of the founders of the Wessobrunn School , which in the 18th century had a decisive influence on the building industry, especially the sacred, in southern Germany, Tyrol and Switzerland. He was married in Bernried , but later lived in Weilheim from around 1677 , where he probably died in 1704. Of the original eleven sons and daughters, eight survived. Many sacred buildings in this region bear his architectural and artistic signature.
