Catherine Kellner (born October 2, 1970 in New York City , New York ) is an American actress and film producer .
life and career
Catherine Kellner was born in New York City to a photographer and an ancient Greek teacher. Her Jewish father originally came from Hungary and emigrated to the USA, where he settled in the city of her birth. Catherine Kellner attended Vassar College and New York University . In 1987 she made her debut in front of the camera in the film There's a Nightmare in My Closet . In German-speaking countries she became known through the film drama Unter Brüdern (No Way Home) , shot by director Buddy Giovinazzo in 1996 , in which she played the ex-girlfriend Denise of the main character Joey portrayed by Tim Roth . The German voice of Catherine Kellner comes from the voice actress Natascha Rybakowski .
Catherine Kellner is married to the photographer and computer programmer Reuben Avery and has one son. She currently lives in New York City.
