Causapscal is located in a valley in the northern Appalachian Mountains at the confluence of the Rivière Causapscal in the Rivière Matapédia . The parish belongs to the Regional County Council of La Matapédia . Causapscal is located 20 km southeast of Amqui . The Route 132 leads east-west direction through Causapscal; there is also a train station.
