Celina Lin Pei Fei (born November 5, 1982 in Shanghai ) is a professional Chinese poker player .

Personal

Lin moved her family to Melbourne, Australia, when she was seven . In Australia she met Tony Dunst , with whom Lin was dating for some time. Today she lives in Macau . Lin is in a relationship with the poker player Randy Lew and has been engaged since March 2018. At the end of October 2019, they became parents to a daughter.

Poker career

Lin started playing poker in 2004 after a friend talked her into playing at Crown Casino Melbourne . It built up within three weeks online a bankroll of 10,000 US dollars and is now under the nickname Celina Lin said Team PokerStars on. Lin has been participating in prestigious live tournaments since 2007.

In mid-July 2009, she became the first woman to win the Red Dragon Event as part of the PokerStars Macau Poker Cup and received a prize money equivalent to more than $ 50,000. Three years later she was victorious again in the same tournament and secured her highest prize money to date of over 110,000 dollars. In January 2013, Lin cashed in the main event of the Aussie Millions Poker Championship in Melbourne, finishing the tournament in 24th place for over $ 40,000. At the beginning of July 2015 she was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and reached the money ranks in a bounty tournament of the No Limit Hold'em variant .
