Cem Karaca (born May 8, 1976 in Hofheim am Taunus ) is a German - Turkish soccer player .
Career
Karaca played in the youth division for Eintracht Frankfurt and moved to 1. FC Kaiserslautern as an A-youth . Before the start of the 1994/95 season , he was appointed to the Bundesliga team of the then runner- up by coach Friedel Rausch . However, he did not play a first division game for FCK in the following two seasons, which was relegated from the Bundesliga in 1996. But he played for the reserve team in the then Regionalliga West / Southwest .
After rising again in 1997, Karaca moved to the second division FC St. Pauli . He was part of the Hamburg team for the next three years and was used in 75 second division games, in which he scored five goals. He completed 15 point games over the entire season; otherwise he was either substituted in or out.
In 2000 Karaca left Germany and moved to Yozgatspor in Turkey . In December he was banned for six months for a positive doping test . In 2002 he was committed to Fenerbahçe Istanbul , which he had to leave a year later. Engagements at Konyaspor and Kayserispor followed before he signed a contract with Sivasspor in 2005 . With this Karaca finished eighth in the Süper Lig as a climber in the 2005/06 season . For the 2007/08 season Karaca moved to İstanbulspor .
In 2011 he came back to Germany and joined the Hessian league club Türkischer SV Wiesbaden as a player-coach .
