The Cernon is a river in France that runs in the Aveyron department in the Occitania region . It rises on the limestone plateau Causse du Larzac , in the municipality of Sainte-Eulalie-de-Cernon , drains through the Grands Causses Regional Nature Park initially in a westerly direction, then turns to the north and flows after 30 kilometers into the municipality of Saint-Georges- de-Luzençon as a left tributary in the Tarn .
