society

The striker Amri was born as the son of Algerian immigrants in Saint-Avold, Lorraine , and started playing football for FC Folschviller at the age of six . From there he joined the youth team at FC Metz in 2000 .

He landed at ASC Lascabas via US Forbach after a move to ES Troyes AC had failed . A year later he kept fit at 1. FC Saarbrücken . A short time later he was signed. According to Amri, the reason for the move abroad was that he was "French here, but an Algerian in France", but on the other hand Didier Philippe's advice to go to coach Dieter Ferner .

At FCS Amri first played in the league team, which was coached by Ferner. During the 2005/06 season, the attacker established himself among the professionals, for whom he scored six goals in 25 second division games. At the end of the season, the team was relegated to the regional league .

In the summer break of 2006, Amri moved to Bundesliga club 1. FSV Mainz 05 . There he scored his first Bundesliga goal against Bayern Munich on the last day of the 2006/07 season. After the FSV was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga , he became a regular player with 26 appearances and scored three goals. The following year he rose again to the Bundesliga with Mainz 05. Due to several minor injuries, he could only play in 18 games in which he scored two goals. In June 2009 he broke his metatarsus in a training game. So it was not available to Mainz until the end of October. On his comeback, he provided an assist for Andreas Ivanschitz in the game against SC Freiburg . In the game against Eintracht Frankfurt, he received a yellow-red card for repeated foul play and applauded the referee after his decision. Amri had to pay a fine of 3000 euros. On the following day of training, he tore multiple ligaments in his left shoulder.

His contract with Mainz 05, which expired in the summer of 2010, was not extended. Amri then moved to 1. FC Kaiserslautern for the 2010/11 season . In the first half of the season he only played one game for FCK due to injuries; by the end of the season he had six missions. In the summer of 2011, a change of club was suggested to him. Since this did not materialize, he trained with the second team. From January 2012, 1. FC Kaiserslautern loaned Amri to second division club FSV Frankfurt for the rest of the season , the loan agreement did not include a purchase option. On February 10, 2012, he scored his first goal for FSV with a 1-0 win against FC Ingolstadt . On his fourth appearance, he broke his fibula in a collision with Karlsruhe goalkeeper Dirk Orlishausen and was out for the rest of the season.

At the end of December 2013, Amri moved to MC Oran in the Algerian first division. From February 2015 he was under contract with the regional league club FC Homburg . In June 2017 he joined the Luxembourg club FC Differdange 03 . After only one season in the Grand Duchy, he moved on to the French fifth division US Sarre-Union.

National team

At the end of August 2006 he was called up for the first time in the Algerian national team, for which he made his debut on September 2, 2006 in a 0-0 win against Guinea in the qualifying for the Africa Cup.
