Chantal Schreiber
Chantal Schreiber (born February 1, 1965 in Vienna ) is an Austrian writer .
Life
Schreiber began a university course in linguistics , which she later dropped out. She then had various jobs as a flight attendant , waitress and saleswoman .
For a while she also worked as a model . She became Miss World Austria (1986) and represented Austria in a Miss World election, where she took third place.
In 2007 her first book was published. Her first books, Alone Among Models and Miss Galaxy , in which she incorporated her experience from the fashion industry, she published for the youth book series Ich bin Ich! published by Thienemann-Esslinger Verlag . Several of her books appeared in the Naughty Girls - Naughty Books series .
Schreiber now writes screenplays for television , poems and lyrics , as well as short stories and contributions to narrative anthologies. Una and the Elf is her first big children's book .
Schreiber lives with her husband and daughter near Vienna.
