Chaos Control is a rail shooter or an interactive film that was released for various game consoles and computers from 1995 .

action

The Pioneer 10 launched in 1972 is picked up by the Kesh Rhan . In 2071 these will destroy human colonies on the planets Mars and Pluto . Next, they want to wipe out all life on earth .

Gameplay

The player takes on the role of a spaceship - a pilot named Jessica Dark Hill . She holds the rank of lieutenant , is considered the best pilot of the Orbital Defense Forces and must now save humanity. The game comprises 12 levels with three sections each.

Remarks

A large part of the game is realized using full motion video (FMV). A planned implementation for the Sega Mega-CD did not materialize. The port for the Sega Saturn was revised in Japan as a Chaos Control Remix .

reception

The game received mostly average to subpar reviews. The German-language magazines rated as follows:

• PC Player 7/95: 51% (MS-DOS)
• Mega Fun 3/97: 29% (Sega Saturn)

MAN! AC wrote in a "classic test" on January 11, 2018:
