Charles Andresen (born December 23, 1902 in Templin , † August 26, 1973 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Charles Andresen was the son of a printer and trained as a carpenter . He attended a building trade school and became an architect . At first he was a site manager , later he worked for an official housing association. In 1931 Andresen bought a stationery shop . But from 1935 he was again a site manager, now in the homestead in Königsberg (Prussia) . From 1939 he worked for the architects Wach & Rosskotten , later as senior construction manager in Danzig and Thorn .

After the Second World War , Andresen was elected to the district council for building and housing by the district council in the Schöneberg district in the first Berlin election in 1946 . A year later, he switched to the non-profit settlement and housing association Berlin (GSW) as managing director . Since Franz Hirschfeld was chairman of the district assembly of Schöneberg, Andresen moved up to the city ​​assembly of Greater Berlin in March 1949 . At the end of 1950 he left parliament.
