Charles knight band
Charles E. Ritterband (born October 7, 1952 in Zurich ), grew up between Zurich and Vienna , is a Swiss author , journalist and political commentator who has lived in Vienna since 2001 .
Life
After completing his studies in German, history, philosophy and political science at the Universities of Zurich and Harvard , the Institut d'études politiques de Paris (IEPP) and St. Gallen (HSG) , he worked for decades as an editor and correspondent for Neue Zürcher Newspaper . Ritterband worked for the NZZ in Jerusalem , London , Washington, DC and Buenos Aires . Born in Switzerland, he has lived in Vienna since 2001 (his mother was Austrian) and was a correspondent for the Neue Zürcher Zeitung for Austria and Hungary until 2013 .
Ritterband teaches journalism and corporate communication at the universities of Vienna , Innsbruck and Krems as well as at the universities of applied sciences for economics, Vienna and at the Joanneum . He is a member of the jury for the Austrian Constitutional Prize.
