Charles Leavitt
Charles Leavitt (born 1970 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania ) is an American screenwriter .
Career
Leavitt first appeared in 1996 with his script for the road movie The Sunchaser . This was followed by scripts for The Mighty - Together they are strong , the TV movie Jennie, the Indomitable and K-PAX - Anything is possible .
In 2006 Edward Zwick's thriller Blood Diamond was released , for which Leavitt wrote the script.
Leavitt's script for the fantasy film Seventh Son , which he co-wrote with Steven Knight based on the novel The Spook's Apprentice by Joseph Delaney , received a pre-nomination for the 2016 Golden Raspberry in the Worst Screenplay category .
For the video game adaptation Warcraft: The Beginning , Leavit wrote the script together with director Duncan Jones .
