The Charles River is a small river in the south of the Australian territory Northern Territory . Most of the year, however, it has no water.

geography

The river has its source in the MacDonnell Ranges northwest of Alice Springs and flows southeast from there. It passes under the Stuart Highway northwest of the city and flows into the Todd River on the northern edge of downtown Alice Springs .
