Charlie Hofheimer

Charlie Hofheimer (born April 17, 1981 in Brooklyn , New York City ) is an American film and stage actor .

Life

Hofheimer has been in front of the camera since he was 13 years old and has appeared in television and cinema films as well as in television series. He gained notoriety through his role in Ivan Reitman's comedy Ein Vater zu viel , and he also played a supporting role in the Oscar- winning war drama Black Hawk Down (2001). In the cinema he was most recently represented with small roles in The Village (2004) and the drama Autopilot (2010).

On television, guest stars on numerous television series including Law & Order , Law & Order: New York , CSI: New York , Navy CIS and NUMB3RS . From 2010 he took on the recurring supporting role of Abe Drexler, lover of one of the main characters, the copywriter Peggy Olson (played by Elisabeth Moss ) in the award-winning US television series Mad Men . He was also seen in Series 24: Legacy .

Parallel to his work in film and television, Hofheimer took on theater roles, including on New York's Broadway .
