Chatiqua Hemingway
Chatiqua Hemingway (* 1987 ) is an American boxer . She was runner-up in the world light heavyweight division in 2006 .
Career
Chatiqua "Tika" Hemingway comes from Pittsburgh . She started boxing in 2004 and is a member of the Steel City Boxing Club Pittsburgh . Your trainer is Sheldon Stoudemire, who used to be an excellent boxer himself.
The colored sportswoman was already US-American light heavyweight champion in 2006 and defeated Jaclyn Nichols on points (18: 8) in the final battle. In February 2012 she started at the US Olympic Trials in Spokane. Chatiqua Hemingway defeated Tiffany Hearn (19:15) in her first fight , but was defeated in the next fight by 17-year-old newcomer Claressa Shields (15:23), who fought for a chance by beating Raquel Miller (21: 6) second fight against Claressa Shields, which she also lost on points (18:23). Claressa Shields therefore started in London and was also Olympic champion there.
