Chic Waterson , also known as Chick Waterson (born June 5, 1924 in London , United Kingdom , † October 30, 1997 in Watford , Hertfordshire ), was a British cameraman .

Waterson went straight from school to film in 1940 and began his career as a camera assistant (e.g. at Next of Kin , 1941). After his discharge from military service, the Londoner returned to film in 1947 and began to work as a simple cameraman.
