Chogla ( Hebrew חָגְלָה) is a moshav in the regional association Emek Chefer in the central district , north of Netanya and south of Hadera on the Alexander River. The place had 857 inhabitants in 2018.

history

The name of the moshav refers to Chogla, daughter of Zelofhad , from the clan of the Zeferiten from the Manasseh tribe , who settled in the area of ​​today's central district. ( Num 26.33  EU , see also Joshua 17.3 EU )

The current settlement was founded in 1933 by Jews who emigrated from Bulgaria , Poland and Russia . Chogla is directly adjacent to the kibbutzim Giwat Chaim (Me'uchad) and Giwat Chaim (Ichud) .
