Christopher "Chris" Ivory (* 22. March 1988 in Longview ) is a former American American football poker players in the position of running backs . He played for the New Orleans Saints , the New York Jets , the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Buffalo Bills in the National Football League (NFL).

Career

college

Ivory played college football for Washington State University and Tiffin University . Limited by injuries, he achieved 534 yards and four touchdowns in 22 games with 91 runs , as well as 23 kickoff returns averaging 22.8 yards. When the coaches who recruited him were replaced, he was no longer on the list of regulars. In August 2009, Ivory was fired from Washington State University for violating team rules. He then moved to Tiffin , Ohio , to the College of Division II ( NCAA ) there. The team was coached by Dave Walkosky, a former assistant coach at Washington State University. In his senior year of college, Ivory scored 39 runs for 223 yards in five games before ending the season with a knee injury. Despite his brief stint at Tiffin University, Ivory's performance and speed were noticed by NFL scouts and he got the chance to become Tiffin's first player to make the leap into the NFL. For example, despite his injuries , a New Orleans Saints scout became aware of Ivory after hearing about Walkosky's enthusiastic recommendations.
