Christopher "Chris" Klodnicki (born May 11, 1985 in Camden , New Jersey ) is a professional American poker player .

Personal

Klodnicki graduated from Lehigh University in Bethlehem , Pennsylvania with a degree in finance . Later he worked as a servant . Klodnicki has one son and lives in Los Angeles .

Poker career

Career

Klodnicki started playing poker in 2003 after learning the game from his brother. He has been playing online since August 2006 under the nicknames SLOPPYKLOD ( PokerStars ) , MrDoggy ( Full Tilt Poker ) and Leon_Black ( UltimateBet ) . He has tournament revenues of more than 2.5 million US dollars . Since 2005, Klodnicki has also participated in renowned live tournaments .

Klodnicki was in June 2007 for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas successful and died in a tournament variant No-Limit Hold'em the money. At the WSOP 2008 he reached the seventh day of the tournament in the main event and barely missed the final table with his twelfth place . Klodnicki received just under $ 600,000 in prize money for this achievement. In mid-November 2008 he won the Borgata Deep Stack in Atlantic City with a prize of around $ 230,000. In December 2009, Klodnicki secured a ring at the WSOP circuit in Atlantic City with $ 215,000 in prize money. At the end of June 2013 , Klodnicki finished second behind Anthony Gregg in the High Roller for One Drop at the WSOP , which brought him his biggest prize money to date of almost three million dollars. In early March 2015, Klodnicki reached the final table at the main event of the World Poker Tour in Los Angeles and landed there in third place for around $ 450,000. At the 2017 WSOP , he won an event in No Limit Hold'em and secured a bracelet and almost $ 430,000 in prize money.

Overall, Klodnicki has earned more than ten million dollars with poker in live tournaments .
