Christian Adolf Wallichs

Christian Adolf Wallichs (born May 13, 1831 in Garding ; † August 26, 1922 in Altona ) was a teacher and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Wallichs attended high school in Husum and studied at the universities of Kiel and Munich Philology . During his studies in 1855 he became a member of the Teutonia fraternity in Kiel . After his studies he was a tutor in Mecklenburg, Holstein and Zealand. In 1859 he was employed at the grammar school in Meldorf , and since 1860 he worked in Rendsburg. From 1864 he was a collaborator , then a sub-principal at the high school in Flensburg .

Between 1869 and 1876 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1874 to 1877 of the German Reichstag for the National Liberal Party and the constituency of the Province of Schleswig-Holstein 3 ( Schleswig ).

His brother was Julius Wallichs .
