Christian Baur

Christian Baur (born March 3, 1977 in Memmingen ) is a German chef.

Career

After training in Bad Wörishofen from 1992 , Baur joined Eberhard Aspacher in the Schlosswirtschaft in Illereichen (one Michelin star ) and in 1996 with Heino Huber in the Deuring Schlössle in Bregenz . In 1998 Baur moved to Frank Oehler in D'Rescht in Hawangen and in 2000 to Holger Stromberg in the Mandarin Oriental in Munich.

In 2002 he became head chef at the Romantikhotel Residenz am See in Meersburg , which was awarded a Michelin star in 2003. In 2006 he moved to the Schlosshotel Kronberg in Kronberg . From 2008 to 2014 he cooked at the Hotel Ritter in Durbach . From 2014 he became the designated successor to Josef Bauer in the Landgasthof Adler in Rosenberg .

2016 he was together with Anibal Strubinger chef at the Black Eagle of Fritz Keller in Vogtsburg . In June 2018 he became the sole head chef here. The Michelin star was deleted in 2020.
