Christian Burns

Christian Burns (* 18th January 1974 in Liverpool , England as a Christian Anthony Burns ) is an English singer and the son of Tony Burns of the group The Signs , a rock band of the 1960s from Liverpool.

Singing career

Burns was a member of the famous British boy band BBMak , along with Mark Berry and Stephen McNally. The band sold three million albums worldwide and had a top 5 single in Great Britain for the first time with " Back Here " . In the USA , the single even reached number 1 on the Billboard charts , with the video being played many times on MTV and TRL .

In 2003 the band split up and all band members followed their solo careers. Since then Burns has worked in several music projects in the dance genre. In 2007 he worked with Tiësto on the track "In the Dark", which was released on the Elements of Life album and which made him more popular. After the title was well received, Tiësto decided to record another title with Burns under his project Alure , which resulted in the title Power of You .

With Benny Benassi he worked on the track Love and Motion , he also worked with the American singer Jes Brieden in the song As We Collide .

In 2010 he collaborated with the artist BT on his album These Hopeful Machines , co-wrote the tracks Suddenly , The Emergency and Forget Me , in which he is also the lead singer . In September 2010 the track This Light Between Us from the album Mirage , recorded with Armin van Buuren , was released.

Burns is currently working on his own rock project called The Bleach Works . The first album is to be released in 2011.
