Christian Friedrich von Reuss

Christian Friedrich von Reuss (* 2. March 1788 in Stuttgart as a Christian Friderich Gottlieb Reuss ; † 1. March 1874 in Heilbronn ) was württembergischer bailiff and later Governing Council of the Jagst circle .

Life

The son of State Councilor Johann August von Reuss studied law at the University of Tübingen and then embarked on a military career, which he ended in 1817 as first lieutenant in order to work as an assessor at the directorate for the royal city of Stuttgart . In 1819 the Heilbronn senior magistrate , Karl August Friedrich Glocker, was suspended from office because of various official offenses, and Reuss succeeded him as administrator until the allegations against Glockner were settled in court in 1822. Thereupon Reuss became chief magistrate at the Oberamt Biberach and in 1829 at the Oberamt Heilbronn . 1833 he became a Councilor for the Government of the Jagst circle in Ellwangen , which he belonged to. 1853
