Christian Hauck

Christian Hauck (* 25. October 1938 in St. Mülsen Jacob ; † 29. March 2020 ) was a German CDU - politician . From 1990 to 1999 he was a member of the Saxon state parliament .

Life

Christian Hauck completed an automotive apprenticeship at Audi in Zwickau from 1953 to 1956 . Between 1956 and 1958 he worked as a locksmith at the Zwickau automobile plant and from 1959 to 1977 as a lathe operator . He attended the technical schools for mechanical engineering in Breitenbrunn and Roßwein , graduating as a mechanical and welding engineer. He then attended the Zwickau University of Applied Sciences and graduated with a degree in engineering and economics.

From 1970 he was the community representative of Mülsen St. Micheln and from 1994 honorary mayor. From 1977 to 1990 Christian Hauck was head of the Zwickau Motor Transport department . He had a dormant freelance contract as a consulting engineer.

Hauck was a Protestant, married and had a son.

politics

Christian Hauck had been a member of the GDR CDU since 1967 . From 1976 Hauck was local group chairman of the CDU. Until 1990 he was a member of the Werdau district executive and from 1990 to 1991 he was district chairman of the CDU in Zwickau-Land . From March to October 1990 Hauck was a member of the People's Chamber . Since October 1990 he has been a member of the Saxon state parliament for two electoral terms (WP). In the first electoral term he was elected through constituency 69 (Zwickau, Land I) with a majority of 56.6 percent; in the second electoral period he was able to prevail in constituency 7 (Zwickauer Land 1) with 56.5 percent. In the state parliament he was a member and deputy chairman of the special committee to investigate abuse of office and power as a result of the SED rule (1st WP) as well as a member of the Committee for Construction and Transport (1st WP) and the Committee for Housing, Building and Transport ( 2nd WP).
