Christian Kühn (born June 8, 1982 in Karl-Marx-Stadt ) is a German actor , author , director and comedian .

Life

Kühn founded the comedy duo "Die Ruhmkugeln" while he was still at school . He graduated from high school in 2001 . From 2000 to 2003 he took part in musical lessons in "Studio WM" in Chemnitz. He gained his first stage experience in 2001 at the Chemnitz Theater in the musical performances Fame - Der Weg zum Ruhm and The Rocky Horror Picture Show , where he was part of the singing and dance ensemble. From 2003 to 2005 he received singing lessons from Christian Alexander Müller in Essen .

From 2003 to 2006 he completed an acting training at the Theater Academy Vorpommern in Zinnowitz . He had drama lessons there with Friedo Solter and Swentja Krumscheidt, among others .

He had permanent engagements and guest contracts at the Vorpommerschen Landesbühne (2004–2006), the Theater St. Gallen (2007), the Anhaltisches Theater in Dessau (2007), the Komödie Berlin (2009) and the Komödie Dresden (2006–2011) .

His stage roles included: the painter Kissling in Pension Schöller (2004, Vorpommersche Landesbühne), Major Crampas in a stage version by Effi Briest (2005, Vorpommersche Landesbühne), the title role in Der aufhaltsame Aufstieg des Arturo Ui (2005/2006, Vorpommersche Landesbühne) ), Truffaldino in The Servant of Two Lords (2005/2006, Vorpommersche Landesbühne), Mortimer Brewster in Arsen und Spitzenhänke (2006, Vorpommersche Landesbühne), Prince of Morocco in The Merchant of Venice (2007, Stadttheater St. Gallen; director: Joshua Sobol ), Nick in Goldfischen by Jan Neumann (2007, Anhaltisches Theater Dessau), Peter Stutz in the musical comedy Die wilde Auguste by Walter Kollo (2008, Comedy Dresden), Heinrich in dem Schwank Die (s) panische Fliege by Franz Arnold and Ernst Bach (2009, Comedy Berlin / Comedy Dresden) and Alfred Klapproth in Pension Schöller (2011, Comedy Dresden). In 2011 he played several roles in the theatrical version of Retirees Never Have Time .

In addition, Kühn has performed his own solo programs in cabaret and comedy since 2003 .

Kühn has been the artistic director of Comödie Dresden since 2012 . He lives in Dresden-Neustadt.
