Christian Kersting

Christian Kersting (* 1971 in Salzkotten ) is a German law scholar and professor at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf .

Life

From 1992, Kersting studied law at the University of Bonn and the University of Lausanne and part-time economics at the University of Hagen . After his first state examination in 1997 in Bonn, he worked as a research assistant at the Bonn Institute for Tax Law before starting his legal clerkship in 1999. In 2000 he joined while still a clerkship at Wolfgang Schön in Bonn his doctorate iur. from; a year later, Kersting passed his second state examination. He then went on to study at Yale Law School , which he graduated with a Master of Laws degree in 2002 .

He then returned to Germany and worked as a speaker at the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition and Tax Law in Munich.
