Christian Meyer (artist)
Christian Meyer (* 1982 in Lüneburg ) is a German moderator , musician , cabaret artist and author .
Life
Meyer was born and raised in Lüneburg. In the church music group St. Nicolai in Lüneburg he was 8 years old "for the first time on a stage" and between the ages of 14 and 19 he had his school band GrassGrün .
Meyer moderates and organizes poetry slams , e.g. B. in Leipzig and Jena . He sings and dances "in a 90s cover duo called 2limited ".
Together with Julius Fischer he has been performing as The Fuck Hornisschen Orchestra since 2009 . Since September 2014 they have their own TV show called Comedy with Karsten on Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR) .
Fischer and Meyer met in 2003 at the University of Leipzig , where they both studied German and history . In April 2004 they went to a poetry slam together for the first time and presented texts individually. Her regular participation then brought her to the German-language championships in Stuttgart in the same year, where Meyer reached eleventh place and gave up his poetry slam career.
