Christian Pogats

Christian Pogats (born April 9, 1967 in Vienna ; † July 29, 2010 in Eisenstadt , Austria ) was an Austrian actor and singer.

Pogats grew up in Hornstein , graduated in 1987 in Eisenstadt and, from 1989, completed acting and singing training at the Schubert Conservatory in Vienna. From 1992 to 1997 he had an engagement at the Vienna Youth Theater . He performed on German and Austrian stages such as the Bayerischer Hof in Munich and the United Theaters in Graz .

Pogats played in numerous television series, including the role of confectioner Sebastian Frank in the television series " Schlosshotel Orth " from 2001 to 2006 .

Pogats was the singer and frontman of the Burgenland rock band Humphrey & die Funkberater , which disbanded in 1997.

He was found dead in his home on the morning of July 29, 2010.

Christian Pogats was buried in the Eisenstadt city cemetery (No. 1203).
