Christian Schmidt (actor, 1958)

Christian Schmidt (born July 8, 1958 ) is an Austrian actor and stuntman .

Schmidt first completed an apprenticeship as a goldsmith and silversmith at the Higher Technical Federal College Ferlach in Carinthia . He began his acting career in 1982 in Niki List's Café Malaria . While filming Franz Novotnys Coconuts , he met the special effects expert Willi Neuner in 1985. Since then, Christian Schmidt has also been active in the SFX industry and as a stuntman. He stood in for example in the James Bond film The Living Daylight ( The Living Daylights ) Bond actor Timothy Dalton . In 1986 Schmidt's first leading role as star detective Max Müller followed in Müller's office , again under the direction of Niki List. Christian Schmidt is also a member of the Austrian pop band Wiener Wunder .
