Christian Schodos

Christian Schodos (* 1965 in Berlin ) is a German actor, musical performer and singer.

Career

Schodos studied musicals from 1986 to 1989 at the University of the Arts in Berlin. During the third semester he played his first leading role in the Berliner Kammerspiele , after which he appeared in the Berlin theater scene. He played u. a. at the Neuköllner Oper , the KAMA-Theater , the Hansa Theater , the ufaFabrik , the Metropol-Theater and the Kleiner Theater am Südwest-Korso. There he played alongside Brigitte Mira , Hans von Borsody , Brigitte Grothum , Corny Littmann , Peter Schiff and Marianne Rosenberg .

Schodos was nominated for his performance in "Heinz Rühmann, the Clown" for the audience award " Golden Curtain " and for the musical production "No Sex!" For the Friedrich-Luft Critics' Prize.

In 2001 he played and sang alongside Marianne Rosenberg in the Kurt Weill musical "Die Venus (one touch of venus)" on Berlin's Schlossplatz in a 750-seat venue built especially for this production. In 2003 concerts followed with Marianne Rosenberg in the duet program "Cocktails for two".

Schodos has released two solo CDs, the first was released in 2003 with the pianist Wolfgang Köhler and contains songs from the American Songbook . The second CD was released in 2004 with the Wolfgang Köhler Trio and the Billroth String Quartet under the title “Because I love you I must lie. A homage to the composer Werner Richard Heymann ”.

In the years from 2005 to 2016, he also shot commercials as an actor.
