Christian Uetz

Christian Uetz (born August 8, 1963 in Egnach ) is a Swiss writer .

Life

After completing the teachers' seminar in Kreuzlingen , he studied philosophy , comparative literature and ancient Greek at the University of Zurich . Since 1998 he has lived as a freelance writer in Zurich . In 1999 he did not take part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt with an excerpt from his volume of poems Zoom and was awarded the 3sat Prize.

He has so far particularly distinguished himself as a poet and performer and has published volumes of poetry at Droschl , Suhrkamp and most recently at Secession , among others . In March 2011, Secession published his first novel Nur Du, und nur Ich, which was followed by two more with Sunderwarumbe and It happened .

The essay Federer für alle , published in 2011, deals with the “divine” game by Roger Federer .
