Christian Ulrich von Ketelhodt

Christian Ulrich von Ketelhodt (born August 5, 1701 in Güstrow , † June 8, 1777 in Rudolstadt ) was a German lawyer and chancellor .

Christian Ulrich, son of the Güstrow court marshal Gustav Joachim von Ketelhodt (1654–1732), studied law in Rostock from 1721 , was court junker in Barby in 1725 and one year later became an assessor for the government in Rudolstadt. In 1729 he was appointed councilor and in 1743 consistorial councilor. From 1750 he was Hochfürstlich Schwarzburg-Rudolstädtischer Privy Councilor, Chancellor and Consistorial President.

Ketelhodt was an honorary member of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences since 1768 .

His son Karl Gerd also became chancellor.
